Green light on Power Button not coming on

    Maybe I'm imagining things, but I remember that a green light used to emit from the Power Button after the car had started in the past. I still get the amber color light on the Power Button when first pressed, but then it goes out and no other light comes on.

    Am I wrong, or is something out of the ordinary going on with my '05 Prius?

    This is normal I believe. I've never bothered to look at mine and see, but check out this thread: Green On Light

    Except that there it's stated that it changed in 2004, and you have a 2005 and you remember it coming on. Hmmmm.

    I'll check out mine next time I start it.

    Yep, mine also isn't lit when the car is on.

    Green: ACC
    Amber: Ig-On.
    Off: Off or READY.
    Blinking: system fault probably in power ECU.
