    Well, you're clearly a tosser but I will point out that you're completely full of shite about the fireman bit (well, actually, all of it). I was talking to a neighbor of mine who's in training to be a fireman now and he was telling me about the class they had just got on dispelling all of the myths that ****-sticks like yourself spew. His instructor showed them how safe the car is for emergency crews. He came away from the class even more impressed by the cars than he had been before.

    That's my testimony.

    Care to elaborate on that? Where's your data? Considering that 85% of the energy consumed by the typical vehicle (this figure comes from a number of studies, including MIT and industry) is in the operation of it, that's a pretty strong claim. You haven't been reading the tosh that Art Spinella prints, have you?

    100% wind power from our electric utility (Green Mountain). This reduces our CO2 footprint by about 10,000 lbs per year, much more than I save by driving a Prius.
