Grill block on/off experiment: 71 mpg v. 62 mpg

    Yes that is about right ... somewhere around 190-195 the "active" cooling starts (not sure what exactly probably the fans) ... you would only go beyond that if you really pushing the engine, higher RPMs, higher load or going up hill ... even in the middle of summer 95+ temps....

    So in average use in normal (not winter) temp I am seeing around 190 .... I am monitoring with ScangaugeE....
