Yeah mine didn't come with that metal base insert. I'll call and see what I can find out. Also my struts were the same part number. Thanks!

I don't, but it was machined perfectly to fit inside the sleeve and keep the sleeve from passing past the spring perch area. Silver looking and about .5" tall.
