Gunnies,hunters,shooters?

I've been an NRA member for over 40 years and grew up in the midwest where hunting and gun knowledge/safety was second nature. I never shot anything I wasn't going to eat (other than target practice,LOL).
I have some rare guns and some newer guns of all types (rifles,shotguns,pistols). I haven't hunted in quite a few years now, since moving west, but enjoy shooting just the same.
I have no qualms about defending my property/family with my guns.
Another thought is, too bad they don't give gang members in LA shooting lessons since they usually hit innocent children instead of who they are shooting at.
