I'm on the web and looking to replace the passenger side tail light assembly on my '04.

Parts.com advertises a 'halogen' tail light assembly. I chatted with a sales rep and gave up. They advertise it as:

    Replaces O E Number : 8155147071

    Replaces Partslink Number : TO2819135

Could there be a replacement that allows a bulb to be replaced when the brake light fails?

Does anyone have experience with these?

Are there any brands to avoid?

    thanks

I believe "Halogen" is referring to the turn, reverse, and/or running lights bulbs. As far as I know, there is no replacement that has an interchangeable brake light; if the brake light goes out, you have to replace the whole thing. Failures are very rare, so if you replace it, I doubt you'd ever have to do it again.
