    Hello,

Longtime lurker, first time poster. I have a 2010 Prius IV (with the Homelink mirror, no sunroof) and I was wondering if anyone had any advice in order to hardwire a V1 using the overhead console? I own a 2011 Avalon as well and completed this mod a few years ago but I cannot recall the specific wire(s) I used. I do remember that with the Avalon I popped out the map light console, tapped into a wire, and ground it using a screw.

Essentially what I am looking for is: which wire (that turns on/off with the ignition) should I tap into? Also, what is the procedure for removing the overhead console?

    Thank you!

Can't help you with the wiring right now, but here's for removing the O/H.

Thank you! Does anyone have any advice on which accessory wire in the overhead console to tap into?

Does anyone have any advice on which wire to tap into in the overhead console? I don't have a moonroof if that provides any additional information.
