And keeping YOU up all night was your irrational fears...

"Then, we need a president who will teach the kids how to use condoms and have gay sex by the time they are in second grade. It would be rude to make them wait until they are in 4th or 5th grade to learn this stuff.
I think those are bigger issues that need to be handled rather than worrying about the teens having casual anonymous sex with anyone / everyone at any time for no reason. What negative side effects could the next generation have if they grow up without a moral compass?
    Morality smorality.. forgiddaboutit..
We're so hosed.. this country is going to fall faster than Rome ever dreamed about."

I LOVE this quote, it's hilarious.

One of the pundits was talking about Hillary walking around the chambers toward 5am with a purple blanket draped over her shoulders. They commented that it was a nice blanket, good color for her.

Does the heat go off at night in the senate chambers? Maybe she was curled up under the desk getting a cat nap after working all night. Yeah.. I'm sure she's just so enthralled by her work and needing to be there all night that she just brought a blanket so she could catch a quick nap on location and get right back to the business of the people. She's so devoted to our needs!! Yeah... Very devoted to the work of the people... her and the rest of the DNC...

I'm glad they (Congress) can't get crap done. It aleviates at least one of my "irrational" fears! ;-)

The LESS Congress does the better my life.

I can't believe that you failed to point out that purple is generally accepted to be a gay color.

If there was overwhelming public support for an immediate pull out of forces from iraq it would be happening or have happened.

The fact is that the public understands the situation much better than those elected officials who are calling for a quick pull out. They understand:

    1. They have not voiced or come up with any plans as to where to pull out the troops to. Okinawa?
    2. The potential for massive genocide is great.
    3. They have not come up with contingency plans if things do go very south there.
    4. It would be very destabilizing for the region and would provide for a potential for our enemies to gather strength.
    5. There would be a very decent chance we would be going back in in the near future
    6. that not enough time has been given to the new battle plans that BOTH parties agreed upon!!

Imagine if the Democratic minority of the past decade would have just given in to the majorities will:
    1. lower or none capital gains taxes
    2. different supreme court justices
    3. a lower general tax rate

The best example of a minority paying NO heed to the majority is Olmert. How can a leader with single digit approval numbers, who botched a war leading to the needless deaths of almost two hundred israeli's, stay in office????? Now he is making nice with Fatah and Syria...... who does he think he is? Why wont he listen to the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF ISRAELI'S (90%) AND JUST LEAVE WITH HIS TAIL BETWEEN HIS LEGS - GO APOLOGIZE TO EACH AND EVERY ISRAELI FAMILY WHO LOST A LOVED ONE OR RETREATED IN THE FACE OF AN ENEMIES ATTACK, AND DONT FORGET THE CAPTIVE SOLDIERS STILL - THEIR FAMILIES. HE IS THE GREATEST DISASTER EVER VISITED UPON ISRAEL - I THINK HE IS A PLANTED AGENT OF HAMAS

Yes, because the public has a say in it? Seriously, Berman... wait until the next election, when the public actually does have a say in it. Congress already sent one bill to Bush calling for a pull out, and it was vetoed. The fact that the republicans are able to stick together to block this one doesn't mean the public wasn't backing the bill.

BTW, TYPING IN CAPS REALLY HELPS TO GET YOUR POINT ACROSS, DOESN'T IT?

Not true! Congress NEVER fails to continually / successfully vote keep their Med Insurance, Retirement packages, and Salary up to date ... unlike other social programs.

Hey, you big queen! For someone (who purports to be) so <strike>inhibited</strike> conservative sexually, you're waaaaaaayyyyy too interested in this stuff.

It's odd how social conservatives invariably take a voyeuristic interest in things that (they assert) are naughty.

You're so funny, it's becoming increasingly clear that homosexuality does indeed hold some interest for you...but you always cast it in the negative, so it'll still be okay for you to indulge yourself in thinking about it.

I mean, except for seeing that priest's dirty books when I moved his library, *I* don't sit around wondering what celibate men do to arouse themselves...

    Hmmmm...

What *do* they do, anyway? Is it okay for a priest to stimulate himself, but stop before he ejaculates? I'd assume this would be an issue for Catholics.

Do *you* cum when you masturbate? Or is that against your religion?

Do you engage in sex only in the missionary position?

I guess I do have a voyeuristic interest in the life of a conservative breeder.

    ----

It's a bit unpleasant when people speculate about your sexual life, isn't it? Now, perhaps, you know how it feels.

    ----

    Hijack over.

    It's not a handbag, it's a *man* bag...a European carry-all...
    [laughing]

I thought it was the pornography playing endlessly on his little tummy-TV that gave him away...
    [wink]

    I can't believe I just wrote that!!

    -----

What's really weird is that, on BART, they sometimes use these *inverted black triangles* to indicate the locations of the emergency power-cut-off switches for the electric tracks...

...that, too, is *A GAY SYMBOL*

Does this mean that BART is promoting the homosexual 'lifestyle?'

It's San Francisco, so it figures.

If you were to actually pay attention to what the Democrats have to say, instead of listening to what the neo-con pundits and politicians want the Democrats to say in order to commit political suicide, you may have learnt the following:
