0.5mpg bump for 2-3mph reduction in average speed.

I tried to keep my speed as much of a constant as possible, as I will for next weeks Power Mode. I did end up running a bit faster average MPH because I hit a bit different traffic patterns. I was about 15 minutes earlier going to work because I've extended my morning work out a bit longer and needed to leave earlier to give myself a few more minutes. Since I hit less traffic my speeds were a bit higher and more consistent, as in less "stop and go." Evenings were about the same. When the other ones are done I'll put all four weeks next to each other.

    Well poop.
I got word that I don't have to drive to work Monday, I can work from home because of the heavy traffic expected from the eclipse. Do I do the week three Power mode test with just the four days, or do I just postpone it until next week?

I am SO disappointed that I don't have to drive to work. ;););)

    No more poop.
Got a set of tickets to the Titans game on Saturday. Might not be the exact same drive as going to work, but it'll be very close. Maybe a couple mile difference. That'll help make it closer to the first two weeks.

I keep seeing good reviews of Techron. Maybe add a trial of that next?

What have you set your tire psi to? Your gas milage seems sorta low. My Prius V gets the same if not better mileage. I run about 40 psi. I have 17" wheels

I moved to franklin a few weeks ago! My commute yesterday form franklin to East Nashville I got 57 MPG. Traffic was ideal for Hybrid syenergy drive. Slow, but not too slow, still some EV driving, light braking, accelerating up to speed, slowing down, keeping the battery between 5 and 6 bars.

Once you get the injectors and fuel delivery path clean.........additional cleaning is just a waste of time and money.

Via the onboard computer. In reality its 2-3 mpg optimistic unfortunately. So let's say 54 mpg. Not bad for a car rated in the low 40s. Most of the time for tank average I get about 46 47.

Tickets are for this Saturday! Not sure how you missed it. My mileage sucks! I don't know why, but I know the tires are a part of it. Mine are not LRR. I'm going to try cleaning the intake, PCV ect.

It's got to be the tires. My pervious car was a 2012 Prius II. When I bought it, it had some cheap Chinese tire on it, I only got 44 mpg driving it home from Orlando with the cruise control. They got horrible milage! I couldn't stand it, so I bought 4 Energy Saver all season tires. Thoes tires were so damn quiet and so damn efficient especially after the tires were broken in. After that I drove to Cincinnati Ohio with the cruise control set to 70 and got 57 mpg the whole way up. I still can't even believe I got that good of milage. Incredible! I'll try to find a picture

This was only the first 3 hours, the next two hours it was still getting over 57!

I'm just having a hard time convincing myself to replace like new tires.....although it may pay for itself.

Yeah it isnt the best move financially. I forgot, another reason I was able to convince my self to get new tires, the cheap Chinese tires I had were very loud too. Nothing like a nasty loud tire

If these were I could use that excuse, but they actually ride and handle great. Others on here have told me that when I go to the LRR tire I'll loose some of that. Said they won't stop as well either. I guess that makes sense. If it doesn't stick to the road while your driving why would it when your braking?
