That's what the bright orange HV cabling is for.

They could be cutting through a hidden cable. They need to to know to check closer, especially as the majority of vehicles to not have that potentially deadly issue.

EV's have been on the road for decades. This horse has been thoroughly beaten. :)

Having worked untold motor vehicles accidents in a previous life, first responders use the "jaws of life" and other similar tools on the doors or roof line not the floor pan where the HV cabling runs.

Painted. Can wrapped hold up to the heat?

    No.

Wrap can't be used on a daily driven brake caliper, average brake caliper temps far exceed wraps ability.

No it can’t hold up because of dirt and grime will make it loose afer awhile and mess it up. I plan on getting my calipers powder coated to glossy metallic light blue.

On a lighter note here in Portland Oregon was the first day of sunshine and I could see what the hypersonic red look like in the sun… It is actual orange in reflection because of the two stage color it has.

I’d like to see what they look like when you’re done doing that. I’m trying to imagine it but I think it would it break up the smooth lines of the flanks of the Prime?

That sounds good. They come in silver, gunmetal gray and black.

Post a picture when you have a minute I’m curious what they look like.

And btw, about the "firefighter" thing, In all toyota`s (atleast here in Norway) it says it is a hybrid in the gas tank cover. The "plug in hybrid" and "hybrid" badges is just there to brag. Thats what firefighters here say, in 2018 firefighters cant just think that whatever car is a petrol or diesel car. Mercedes, volvo and BMW`s hybrids got almost no badges that stands out what so ever, they look like normal diesel and petrol cars, so thats why it says in the gas tank cover and in the engine bay. Plus the firefighters r trained to know what cars is hybrid, here firefighters bring it up in meetings so they r all caught up on the hybrid market.

I love the debaged Prime, my dad has thought about getting one.

One question... is your friend with a "paid" versus volunteer fire dept?

@MSAGRO Can you confirm that both side badges and rear hatch badge were stickers and left no pinholes?
