Hatch damper arms, Lubrication.

    After trying numerous products to lubricate the damper arms, oil, WD40. I may have found a product that works and allows the hatch to go all the way up now and I am no longer hitting my head. The product is: White Petroleum Jelly. :cheer2:

    Thanks for the tip. My hatch seems to move more slowly than it used to, but I assumed that the gas was slowly leaking out of the dampers. Gonna' go try that fix right now.:D

    I have also had good luck using a tiny amount of silicone grease which I originally bought for using on the seals and packing on plumbing fixtures. It has worked well to quiet the squeaks coming from the dampers.
