Hatchback, rear door trim removal

    I can't find the info in the service manual. How is the rear hatch plastic attached? Where are the clips, etc. Anybody got a tutorial or instructions?

    The rear hatch trim is just attached with body pins that press fit. Start at one of the bottom corners, pull it it out slightly and then slip your panel removal tool in the gap. slide it along until you feel the first attach point then use your tool to lever it out.

    You can find very brief info on the rear door in the ED-Rear door section of the repair manual. It at least shows you where the 5-11 clips are located.

    A good set of panel removal tools are worth their weight in gold for these kind of jobs.

    Thank you, i found that, and I found also these 2 youtube videos showing how to install a rear camera:



    This is for a 2004 model but they are about the same.
