Head gasket EGR or the 2ZR Engine 2010 prius

Your engine has thrown a rod so its life is done. JDM engines have the same egr. Only a 1.8L gen3 Prius engine will drop in and work. Even people who use gen4 1.8L engines end up using the gen3 intake, exhaust and egr.

If the car is otherwise worth it I would get a low mile gen3 engine and have it rebuilt with new rings, machined head, new Toyota gasket set and cleaned up egr cooler. We have seen this turnkeyed for $3k - $8k with the high end being a dealer price. Then you start with a like new engine, no leaks, no oil burning, factory mpg and an additional 150k miles out of the "new" engine without risking another partial repair.
