Head gasket replaced. The Gen 3 Prius has come back to life!

    The Prius started right up with no clattering or noise from the timing chain. It does have a trouble light which I'm guessing was stored in the ROM. It did produce a large white smoke cloud that I presume (and hope) was leaked coolant from disassembly. Hopefully, it will resume it's former reliable life at this point. Thanks again for all the great suggestions!

    Yeah, you're probably right. If anyone has the energy to do that, that would be good as well. I will put any other stuff in that thread.
