    An engine swap is more "work", but less challenging. As long as you are careful with not damaging electrical connectors, it's just a whole bunch of nuts and bolts. Take your time, take lots of pictures and make lots of notes about everything you remove and in what order. Also bag and label all hardware as you remove it.

    The service manual and youtube are both good resources to have.
