Is there a trick to reach the left headlight bulb to change it? Do I have to remove anything first? I got it in, but it’s not aimed straight- it points to the right.. 2012 Prius v By left I mean by standing in front and looking in the engine compartment

So, the US passenger-side headlight, the one on the right side of the car?

I think I've been known to move the air snorkel, just to reach that a little more comfortably. That's in a Gen 3 liftback....

I would think its not in there flat. The cable is almost too short. I install the bulb first and then snap on the cable.

Yes, move the air intake hose out of the way first.

Don't operate the bulb while it is mounted off angle or you risk melting the headlight housing.

In general, when bulb cables have connectors to bulb housings, always separate and seat the separate bulb in its housing first, then snap the cable in place on the housing.
