    I've tried these 'restoration' kits. They last for a few months and then the cloudiness returns. Just my experience.

    Call a few local body shops, they will typically be willing to do this but the price may be a little steep.

    That's because you're wearing away the top cloudy layer of plastic. The first use also wears away the UV protectant coating (which has long since deteriorated).
