Headlight

    I rebuilt my 2007 Prius from a total and had to replace the R/S HID headlight (Ebay). Since then (3-4years) that headlight only comes on when it feels like it. Sometimes I have to turn the switch several times to get it to light up, but once it's on it stays on until I shut down, then start the exercise over again. It comes on 90% of the time the first time, then 30% after that. It always comes on if I turn the switch enough times but it IS annoying to have to do that. Any idea's? Thanks, Bob

    So you have one side that works fine and one side that sometimes does not? Just swap the bulbs around. If problem switches sides you know it’s just the bulb.

    If it doesn’t change then it can be the ballast or wiring to it. Just checking the wiring before/while disassembling to replace the ballast should be fine then.
