Heater not blowing warm air after long way downhill?

    On any vehicle, those sockets are good for only 120 to 150 watts, not enough for the heat you want.

    Seriously, Toyota didn't think about this? Or Japan doesn't have any mountain at 8000'? I've seen a lot of pictures of Japan with mountains covered by snow on tops so that must be more than 8000', I guess. Or this car is exactly a Prius C for City, so don't go to the mountains?

    To be honest, we have plenty of hills and subzero temperatures here, and I've never experienced a loss of interior heat.

    This issue is not unique to the 'c', it will happen in the liftback too.

    Just because Toyota didn't install a fix doesn't mean they didn't think about it. How much more are you willing to pay to fix this and many other corner cases?
