My daughter and I spent the day adding a new stereo. Frustrating but we got it in. We are hooking everything up and there is an extra connector right behind where the park button is. The two connectors (white adn black) connect to the parking button but the other back one has no home. Help. Anyone know where that goes? If ti helps when we fire up the system it tells us something about being on a hill and setting the parking brake. Thoughts?

is the extra connector from the car, or the new h/u?

Looking through the Electrical Wiring Diagram and Repair Manual (more info), from the connector style, number of wires, wire colors, and general location on the car, the black, six-position connector, with white/black, green, white/black, yellow, blue, and red wires, is connector M11, for the Main SW (P Position Switch).

I might be able to identify the others, if you could post clear photos of the wire colors, please.

Problem solved (I feel like an idiot). I searched and searched and then realized it is for the parking switch which of course was in the back seat as we did this. DOH. Thanks.
