Couple weeks ago I hit a curb and bent my subframe and cracked my transmission cover plate.
I replaced my subframe and transmission outter plating myself and put everything back togeather.

After the repairs, the car drives smooth and can shift into any gear but while driving randomly, the engine would turn off , RPM sounds like it shoots up high, the check engine light turns on and the red triangle appears. In order to drive it again i need to put the car in park, turn it off and back on and it will drive again.

My OBD scanner reads code p0a40 and p0a41.
Can anyone help diagnosis what this problem is ?

    Thanks for reading.

Those codes appear to refer to a motor-generator inside the transaxle. It sounds like you may have done more than damage the case.

Yeah, I agree with andrew, based on the codes you may have some more significant damage, sorry to hear it!
