AAA lockout service? Do you have more than 1 keyfob?

I would suggest to get a copy or 2 of your mechanical key made and put 1 in your purse. Then if it happens again at least you can open the drivers door.

This actually shouldn't be possible but I've heard some people being able to do this.

Do you have a spare key?

You must have a non sks car.

Go on YouTube and look up various ways to get into cars but the safest way is to go get AAA.
Buy AAA for a year and this will pay for itself.

Then when you get your hands on the fob remove the mechanical key that’s in the side Of the fob then go to Lowe’s get a copy of that key and buy the hide a key magnetic box and hide that new key copy under the car.

Btw I live in Clearwater. Welcome to PC!

I do believe that some people have busy lives, outside of Priuschat. :D Unlike us old dudes.,:ROFLMAO:

And thanks to Ed. I'm going to Lowe's and get a copy made of my mechanical key. Keep it on my key ring. If I lose the FOB, I can't start the car, but I can sit in there and nap.

The Prius should have A 4-digit key pad somewhere in there, like a PIN code, that would allow us to start the car if we lost the FOB. So at least we could get home and get the spare.

my theory: people panic, find priuschat and post, solve their problem in another way, and sometimes remember to come back, sometimes not.

Elon musk trolling Prius owners. Because they can use their smartphones to unlock their cars.
