Around here the thing that kills cars is time (in the shape of winter's salt on the roads), rather than mileage; so I would buy the 2005. I suspect, that is not the case for you, so maybe lower mileage is a benfit. Are you planning on keeping it until it dies? How do you feel about washing cars? Which one makes you happy?

Salt on roads is not an issue here. We are planning to drive it for atleast 2 to 3 years. We tend to be a bit lazy washing cars but considering I passed recently I would rather drive a clean car lol I prefer the colour of the 2005 but just a little unsure about if the mileage is an issue.

I would get the one with the lowest mileage. It is hard to pick when you cant fiscally look at the car. The black one looks good thu. Hal

I don't think the mileage is an issue. Are you talking Kilometers or miles. Some people call everything miles! Go with the color you like. Hal

Oh right, cool. We seem to be swaying more towards the 2004 due to the low mileage. I recently bought myself a sat nav after passing my driving test in January which is a bit of a pain lol All that really lies on it is the amount of space to boot has. I have a 16 month old and a very chunky pushchair so have to make sure evrything will fit with room to spare. Only seen the outside of a Prius so far.

Thanks to all that have given an opinion. It has been so hard since finding two that both have an equal pros and cons list.....

I'm sure you will get everything in. When you look under the rear hatch there is another compartment under the floor. That false floor can come out to give you more room for large items. Hal

We bought the 2004, burgundy with the lower mileage. Love it. Already saving us money and such a dream to drive. So relaxing. Love my Prius :)
