My car (Prius 2004) has Brake, abs, vsc and (!) lights on.Took it to Toyota dealer for diagnostics and this is the codes that I get:

C1345: Not learning linear valve offset
    C1356: Decreasing preassure selenoid (FR)

Front LEFT wheels is locking and causing flat tire. But I don’t understand why the code I am getting (C1356) is for front RIGHT.

I have a video of what I first thought was the problem before bringing it to the Toyota dealer but the forum won’t let me post it.

    Anyways.

The mechanic there said I need a new ABS actuator assamby because according to him mine is dead. They said I must pay 3000+ dollars for that.

    Does anyone recognize this problem?

What are my options. Not experienced with mechanics.

    Thank you

Generally with the codes and then with the front wheel locking up that pretty much puts it in perspective for most folks it's time for a break actuator Not sure what you're going to do about that I think for the Gen 2 there may be a supply problem You may try the JDM importers and see if they can get you something out of an auris or something like that..

    Welcome to PriusChat!!
Did you pay the dealership for the above codes (DTCs), as they should've offered the three (3) digit subcodes (INFs or detailed codes), knowing them wouldn't be a bad idea, and they may be on some of the papers you received from the dealer.

This workup for C1345, notice the four (4) associated 'detailed codes' : https://share.qclt.com/%E4%B8%B0%E7%94%B0%E6%99%AE%E7%91%9E%E6%96%AF%E5%8E%9F%E5%8E%82%E8%8B%B1%E6%96%87%E6%89%8B%E5%86%8Cpdf%E6%A0%BC%E5%BC%8F/Prius%20Service%20Manuals%202004/%E4%BF%AE%E7%90%86%E6%89%8B%E5%86%8C/04pruisr/05/21avn/cic13456.pdf

We may be able to recommend a Prius centric mechanic within a reasonable distance. Which part of Florida are you nearest, as the state is fairly large. Is Tampa or Titusville nearby?

Do you have AAA or a towing package?

    FYI : you're moderated until you've posted 5 times.

hey, thank you for replying. I ended up changing the abs actuator for a second hand one I bought from a salvage yard. Now I am trying to blead the brakes using techstream but it requires that I remove the 2 abs motor relays which I have no idea what they are or where they are located.

    Can anyone help please?

R2 and R8 in the underhood fuse box are the relays for ABS motors. A relay is a high current switch that's controlled by a low current electromagnet coil. Screenshot_20230426-002654.jpeg
