Help me understand the radio: "TP SEEK", "AF", "REG", "PTY", "AST"

I apologise if this has been asked before, but I honestly couldn't find much help thru google. I did see some other people asking about similar "TP SEEK" problems in other cars, none Prius.

What do all those short forms mean? Is there a manual for the radio?
"TP" = Traffic Program? But what's that?
    "AST"?
    "REG"?
    "PTY"?
    "AF"?

Presently, whenever I use the FM radio, it works normally for about 20 seconds, then it beeps and scans for some other channels, and the screen shows a blinking "TP SEEK".
I don't know what all this means.
Is it in some kind of auto-tune-to-radio-stations mode?
Does the radio think that a button (physical/screen) is being pressed?

I have tried pressing the PTY, AF, AST, buttons haphazardly, but can't seem to turn off the "TP SEEK".

Surprised to see no other mention of this problem.
Mine is a 2006 Prius, base package, South-East Asia.
Do most 2006 owners here have the same radio?

    Thanks in advance!

Here's a four-year-old post on a Lexus forum, with some explanation of what they mean. But I would still like to know what I should do to turn off all these things, I only need to listen to FM stations that I have in the presets.

    OK, found it.
It's the physical "TA" button on the right of the physical "DISC" button.
