    Sending out an SOS lol

So in the UK and I have a 2009 Prius T-spirit, 82k on clock, had it 5 months, mot and service was done in Dec 21. So, car hasn't missed a beat since I bought it and I drive it everyday. Today it didn't start, no lights came up at all. So could it be the car fob battery is dead? It did beep when I kept pressing start. Or could it be the 12v? I have no mechanical knowledge so even if I can get a battery, I wouldn't wanna risk I stalling it myself. Lastly if it is the 12v, will any compatible do or should I get a particular one?

    Thanks!

You can easily check the 12v battery voltage and see if it's any good. If it's bad, then you don't have to look much further. Get the original one if you can find it, it should last longer and be more reliable than a compatible one.
