What part is this? It is oil passage to the timing chain tensioner?

I can’t remember how the tensioner is positioned, but I believe that bulge in the timing cover exists to accommodate the shape of the tensioner plunger, but I could be wrong.

seems like connected to oil passages going to the valve train, would it be making oil go through the timing chain tensioner adding tension other than the spring?
