Help! P0A94 P0A7A

    Can these codes be reset at all it seems not I’m skeptical it’s bad enough that system should be disabled. I hit some debris on the road and abs went off then the dc/dc code ect. I had the ecu tab done is there a limit on the extended warranty from that? For the inverter?

    I tried to reset it won’t work either the scanner I have isn’t capable or I’m not doing it right. It says to turn the engine off and leave the car on but not sure how to do that in a Prius. When I try turning it on without the brake it shuts back off too fast to reset.

    One way to reset the codes is to disconnect the 12 volt battery for 5 minutes or more and then reconnect and see what codes return;).

    If you give us some background on what happen just before all of this occurred, we might be able to assist too:).

    I tried the 12v battery thing first it just came back right away didnt even seem like it cleared anything. waited over 5 min disconnected.

    Just before I was changing lanes and some debris on the road made the traction control go on then i got the fault.

    Any chance you hit something that damaged one of the sensors on the wheels?

    possible but I don't see how that would throw the hybrid battery fault? I saw in another post you can remove a white cable from the fuse box for 10 min to reset codes will that maybe work?

    If the system isn’t detecting the speed sensor or something else, it’ll act like it isn’t there and it doesn’t like to ignore that.

    I’d jack the car up and take a look as there will be a cause for the lights. You know you hit something, so you know where to look.

    I'm with Ray on this. Hit road debris....codes suddenly appear....means to me that you need to get under the car and do some inspecting. There are cables under the car that could have been damaged.

    I wouldn't really say i hit something as much as it seemed i was running over a piece of cardboard.... What sensors are under there that would cause a hybrid battery fault?

    We once saw an intermittent VSC indication which turned out to be a contaminated wheel sensor connection. Road salt had worked its way beyond the seal. Flushed, dielectric greased, reconnected, voila.
