    Cross-party support for eliminating the sales of combustion engine vehicles before alternatives are proven viable for everyone is simply foolishness on both sides of the political system.

    The problem with politics is that we let people that have no expertise in science or economics make all the laws based on their feelings (and more often lobbyist contributions) .

    yes, but the devil is in the details. those words can mean a lot of things, or they can just be words. color me skeptical.

    just look at this thread title, talk about meaningless words.

    Germany decided to can all nuc plants cold turkey. They rely on Russia for a lot of their natural gas. Why not one more wild plan? Sure the devil is in the detail, but the starting point of the conversation is at a level that will likely never be reached here.

    Analogy. Here you can get up on a soapbox and proclaim that religion and god is a hoax. Do that in Iran, and you probably don't make it home alive. Two vastly different levels of what is acceptable and what is not.

    Those reporting the "in the now" perspective absolutely debited that would ever happen.

    Others saw the ramp-up and multi-reach efforts to position them for that. The. EV abilities should have been obvious.

    Just like everything else Prius related (to deliver a product for the masses), it takes a lot of patience.
