HID fog lamps

    Well. If the stock HID headlights are 4300K and the Silverstar foglights are 4500K, then we should have a pretty good match. Yes?

    If 4500K is right, then yes. Sylvania doesn't post their number (or at least I couldn't find it) but it sounds about right. My headlights do look white.

    No such thing as near HID they are either HID or not HID.
    The imitation HID's are halogen lamps with a blue coating and they actually have reduced light output from real HID's.
    HID's will only draw @ 5.8amps vs Halogen's @ 8.3amps.
    HID's will normally last the life of the vehicle where halogens average 1,000 hours.
