HID Foglight Install

    Well, I do not know about "have to" but it certainly made it much easier. I guess one might try to remove the black belly pan and go in through the bottom. It just seems like a lot of hassle. The bumper comes off pretty easily really. I have had mine off a few times without a problem.

    If you go through the bootom, take some pictures and just remember to be careful and not touch or bump the new HID bulbs when installing them. Mounting the ballast might be a bit of a challenge from the bottom, I don't know-give it a try.

    I'm looking into doing the same mod, did you get the 4300K or 6000K kit?

    I got the 4300K kit, the same as DocVijay.

    You don't have to remove the bumper. I went through the bottom. It was probably more difficult than Cairo's install, as you have to do half by feel since you really can't see under the car.

    Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. I used this today to see how the fog light looks behind the bumper. Then I removed 2 screws on each side of bottom plastic, stuck hand in there and replaced my fog lights.

    This post and pictures helped me visualize what I was feeling.
