Hidden EBH Plug

    taking the nose piece off, because people keep asking about that...

    I don't have an EBH but, this is a great idea on how you implemented it.

    The plug is weatherproof when not in use because of the rubber cover. Since I have no garage in which to park my Prius, my concern it how to have it be weatherproof when IN use. Obviously the license plate provides a fair amount of 'roof', maybe that is enough? (And I REALLY like the stealth of hiding it under the plate :) )
    I like the idea of a weatherproof plug, the best I can do now is shove the connected plug ends inside the lower grill and hope I don't crack the plastic grates in the process at -20F.

    Nice.. but I have to ask.. How many times have you forgotten to disconnect before driving away?:confused:


    Maybe you could add an ignition kill relay thats energized when plugged in.

    Great job Jay! Of course you've just made my life a bit more difficult, everyone will want that "hidden" plug on the install.
