highway gas mileage

    Hmmm, if the winds not blowing, I can get about 50mpg, if the wind is blowing in the direction that I'm driving, then 55mpg, but if I'm moving against the wind, then 40-45mpg.

    I'm forever watching for flagpoles when driving along highways. I thought maybe I was the only one. :)

    All I do is highway miles, around 140 miles a day and driving 70-75 MPH I am averaging a touch over 50 MPG. As a new Prius owner I'm still amazed by this!

    Nope, I do it too if it's windy out. Leaves and tall grasses are also great indicators.
