    Checked local salvage yards. Nothing. Next step is an "all points bulletin" but thought I should ask here as if there were some other sources someone here would know.

    Are you using an accredited body shop? If not: no offense, but DIY repairing that amount of damage should be illegal.

    I have a very experienced bodyman with a shop. I'm looking to source parts. At least, I thought that was the gist of my post.

    thanks bestmapman. the left fender is in pretty good shape compared to the right. However, if it becomes apparent that it would be better to replace it, would definitely be interested.

    It's been a long time since I've dealt with junk yards but...don't they interconnect with one another online regarding inventory? Long ago, when I needed a windshield for my Accord, one junkyard found it at another through the internets.

    Sorry about the car, but glad to hear you're alright.

    Don't know the Laws in Canada, but don't you have insurance? Did they "Totaled" it? Picking my 2010 up from the Body Shop this Tuesday after unavoidably running over someone's spare wheel assembly in the middle of the freeway at 75 mph the Saturday before Thanksgiving. My deductible is $500 US. Here...the insurance Companies and Shops have access to a database to source parts. I would think your "very experienced bodyman with a shop" should have some type of similar access up there.
