Hit from behind? Get it repaired?

    A very large % of cars on the road have dings, marks, scuffs as well as have been painted at some stage.

    If it was me, I'd take a photo or two of the damage and keep them for anyone who may want to see the damage and then get the car professionally repaired

    I was rear-ended some months ago in a chain collision (I was the front of the chain). When the body shop took off the bumper, it found additional damage. I'd definitely have the thing repaired. A good body shop should be able to minimize any difference in color between the car and the new bumper cover.
