Hitch causing trim to melt?

Looks like the Sigma hitch is the Curt hitch.

The Curt hitch is on sale in two places, but you can't tell from the picture if they're dumping the old design or if it is the new design.

Hmmm. I wonder if you bought it and it was the old style, if they would exchange it for the new style at the sale price. Given the problems of the old one, I'm surprised Curt didn't recall all of them.
