Is it safe to assume that this isn't able to be swapped in place of a stock Prius II mirror? Don't want to do much install work, but if the wires are already there, I'd be interested.

It will have to be wired in order to have power. The wiring harness has three wires, one is constant power, one ties to the accessory power and the last is ground. At least one wire will have to be run down the pillar to a source under the dash. There is no pre-wired connector above the roof liner.

If OP does not have the wiring harness, I would be sure you can get the correct one before purchasing, or you'll just have a fatter mirror... Actually mounting the mirror to the windshield is no problem, the pop the old one off and slide the new one on, but without the wiring harness it will just be a mirror!

Suggestion to OP: Post the make and model of the mirror so potential buyers can obtain the correct wiring harness from another source, or if you know a source, post that as well...
