Honda Kills the Insight

    If that Insight came out now, it may have fared better (esp. compared to the smart fortwo) and benefit from a smaller battery that didn't take up half the trunk. It got similar mileage as a diesel smart but it's faster and less choppy and a little more practical than the smart. No doubt it'll be cheaper to service.

    If Honda sold the original Insight today, I'd buy one.

    Still waiting for the sub $25k lightweight hybrid. Plug-in for bonus points, even if plug-in range is only 10-20 miles.

    I have a better idea - fire the artists that designed the thing and redesign it so that people don't think it looks ugly !!!

    Honda's biggest mistake with the Insight - the prototype looked awesome, but the one that arrived in the showrooms was a disappointment compared to the prototype. (FYI: I saw the prototype in person at the LA Autoshow - it looked awesome)
