I have '16 Touring and while driving on long and winding road in California mountain I scratched bottom of front bumper, see some clips broken and fender liner displaced a bit.
But then I see a big gap between hood and grill, looks like whole lock got misplaced.

Anybody see that happened, very strange. I'm not sure if I just need adjust a lock or go to body shop to check something else.

    Thanks
    V

Sounds like one or more of the radiator core supports got damaged. I had a similar situation while on a trip. I have not repaired anything except re-fastening the bottom splash shield. The hood latch support connects to the bottom core support and the damage caused it to raise the hood latch position.
