    what's not to like?(y) scan gauge does not connect to your phone or have the other neat features. otoh, scan gauge gives you a good in car display. a lot of folks have obd apps on their phones though.

    It looks good , there are a 100 reviews on it at Amazon,overall 3.5 stars.Check them out if you are considering it.

    Nice gadget for those with "low tech" automotive systems. Not sure I'd want one, though.

    that's an extremely overpriced OBD plugin thats aimed to target average consumers. But very well marketed on that site. I am in no way affiliated with this, but may I suggest a cheaper solution?

    get a well rated OBD scanner. The one on the right was $10 and is defective. Then got the one on the left at $24 which works fine. The purpose of an OBD is to just connect to the cars computer by Bluetooth.

    Then download any OBD app on your phone. TorqueLITE is a free app that allows you to monitor lots of stuff like voltage, rpm, etc. I use Carista. I liked it so much, I bought the pro version for $20. I can respect the price since a dealership can charge you $100+ for what it's capable of sometimes. And its at your fingertips.
