How can i disable the factory alarm prius 2002

    I have 2-way alarm installed on my 2002 Prius. When I use the remote start to start the car when the car is locked, the horn beeps 4 times.
    I really want to know if there is a way to disable the factory car alarm?

    I have a 2002 Prius which I purchased new, and I do not have a 2-way alarm per se. It also does not heep the horn when I unlock the car, and I do not have a remote start ... this is not a standard accessory from Toyota for the U.S. market.

    I believe you have aftermarket accessories installed on the Prius. You may want to go to an automobile stereo/alarm installer and have them examine the Prius.
