Just reaffirms my belief that portable GPS systems are a prime target for thieves, and it's always better to just get the built-in kind, or *always* take your GPS out of the car. Any thief can quickly break into any car, alarm or glass won't stop them. Does anyone pay attention to car alarms anymore?

The unlock button is disabled when you lock the car from the outside or using the button on the fob, I tested this yesterday. So this trick will only work when you've locked the car from the inside, as is normally the case when the keys are locked in the car.
