Sometimes my displayed average mpg is only off by .6 mpg and other times it is off by 4-5 mpg. Does it have something to do with where the pump shuts off and outside air temp? Just wondering because I displayed 45.6 mpgon my most recent tank and was so excited, and then when I plugged it all into Fuelly, it gave me 41mpg. Kind of annoying...

No idea but we were about 3.5 mpg off. Fueling stopped at first pump shutoff. I've seen some say it's close (+/- 1.5) but the first tank for us was off compared to manual calculations. W

If you can, try to use the same pump at the same time of day (preferably mornings) to minimize those variables.
