I was driving home from working (refing) and a deer was in my blind spot. Im so lucky it was only the mirror when I slammed my breaks. What part do I need? How much wilp it cost? Getting my bumper panted in July and Ill have the back of mirror panted? Its only the drivers side. Any advice?

The cover has popped off. These are available from Toyota, already painted in matching colors, for about $40.
Just get the paint code of the car label and match it to the cover. Pretty sure my Driftwood Pearl was 4S2. Your Blue should be ???

If mirror is cracked or broken in the red area, replace the complete mirror. Paint code is on the attached label on door pillar. Example C/TR 4S2

Aftermarket mirror also available from Rockauto or Amazon for about $40, would have to paint it. Depends if your mirror is heated or not.

TYC or Depot are quality reproductions.

They are next to impossible to find at junkyards. Rather than deal with aftermarket, I just ordered the entire assembly from the dealer -- I have done it twice -- once on the passenger side because of a doe and a second time because of someone clipping my parked car on the street.

It's an easy replacement -- well -- if you have smaller hands it is easy. Don't even need to remove the inside door panel, just crack it open at the top....took about 15 minutes?? Dealer quoted about $200 FOR LABOR ONLY to replace, not including the parts. There are probably some YouTube vids....

I did end-up buying the inside speaker (tweeter?) grill when I did the driver's side, as it had also cracked -- $5 at the junkyard.

How hard would it be to paint the mirror cover blue? What are my cheapest options?

Cheapest? $40 - 50 either way, aftermarket to paint, salvage, some just leave the mirror black, its a 13 year old car, take the cover off the other one and paint it black. Paint it blue will have to mix a spray can at a bodyshop supply, not sure if duplicolor has a spray can from Adavance Parts, still $15-30 for paint.

Go to car-part.com input vehicle year etc and your zip, may find a blue mirror near you. Don't know your zip

Thanks none near me but might see about getting it shipped. It's $50 to paint mirror cover plus $40 for entire mirror setup

8M6 is the paint code and is Spectra Blue Mica
    FE11 is the trim code.

I find the mirrors in eBay and in junk yards quite regularly not necessarily in the colors that I want but go look on eBay all the vents from every Toyota Prius in the world are on sale for on eBay for $199 for all four of them I just got a set of four for free so this stuff is out here people are putting down these Gen 2 left and right or they're trying to sell them for $5,000 and their brakes are getting ready to fail any minute they're everywhere I mean every day somebody's calling me up hey I just took in an 07 we're not going to touch it it's got that ugly tan interior and it's gold so pretty much nothing on it's any good
