How "good" is the cruise control on the 2004?

    I'll have to play with it, maybe it 'cancels' the speed setting while leaving the cruise control 'on'.

    The Button turns it off, so to reset it, you have a two step (button - set).

    If the cancel just removes the speed setting, you would be able to reset with just one setp.

    Response:

    All memory of previous set speed is lost when you push the button at the end of the stalk. You can't command the cc to return your car to its previous speed after turning it back on.

    If you cancel by pulling the stalk toward you (or by hitting your brakes), you can resume your previous speed simply by moving the lever as if you were increasing speed with cruise control engaged (moving it up and away from you).
