Yep, very handy. I keep a plastic pack of Kleenex in there. I'm not sure if they even sell those any more, I haven't seen them in our stores for a couple of years so I just refill from a box.

A sad loss to the 2010 owners. No under radio storage, no drawer under the console. Just a hard to get at open bin under the arch. Toyota could have at least put a covered bin in all that wasted space in the arch to replace the lost bin under the radio.

Hmmm, I seem to be storing bits of crushed goldfish crackers in that one. At least now I know what happens to the ones that get away.

A friend found a box or two of ammunition in his after driving it a few months. The dealer he bought it from used obviously wasn't aware of "the drawer" either.

I've had my 2005 since 2011 and just found out about the drawer from this thread. I wondered what could be in it. Opened it to find nothing... Still clean.

Even though I originally discovered this secret storage drawer several months after I'd originally bought the vehicle, and occasionally use it, would you believe there are moments when I completely forget that it is there at all - usually when I'm driving. And don't get me started on that extremely useful space just beneath the stereo system.....I've probably opened it twice in 29 months! Talking about well hidden spaces, the 2nd Gen Prius seems to have a lot in common with a certain famous Corellian YT-1300 light cargo freighter that did the Kessel Run in 12 Parsecs....

For those of us more familiar with astronomy than the Star Wars follow-ons, this trivia is in itself an error. A parcec is not speed, it is a distance, to wit about 31 x10^12 km.

Absolutely true, and something I am painfully aware of.....however, Han Solo said his lines....and it became a part of Star Wars lore for which (apparently) they have a perfectly reasonable explanation why he put it that way, LOL...!!!

    I didn't do it.
    Nobody saw me do it....
    You can't prove anything....!! ;)

No actually the under 12 parsecs is not an error the reference means that the ship goes through a dangerous area of space instead of around it. The kessel run is usually 18 parsecs if you go the safe route, then again deal asteroid fields in the nebula called the pit or try to run with your illicit cargo from imperial forces hmm the danger factor is a toss-up
    terramir
PS: the illicit cargo is a mined drug called spice (dune anyone) and boshek actually beat the record with infinity but without cargo then Han solo beat it again but on a run with Luke Skywalker later :)

Wookiepedia merely documents Lucas' creative backpedaling once he realized he was in error... :)

Actually if you google kessel run it's pretty well documented what it meant,
but back on topic, I know the hidden compartments on driver side on the cargo space, under the floor above the spare, the upper and lower glove department and the center console with bottom drawer and the stereo space are there any other hidden spaces I am missing?
