55 or so. But they said they put 10 on it while they were recharging the battery. (It was totally dead sitting in the showroom. So they jumped it then took it out and drove it a bit, then prepped it.) The "traction battery" (why do they call it that?) was dead when it was delivered to me, tho.
A lot of dealers do this crap, they are either ignorant or lazy, If you could get them to acknowledge this in writing..... Several mini experts on PC have said that depletion of the 12V or the HV is injurious to the vehicle.
125 miles but that was because it came down from NJ. Thought about getting it myself but the local dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Bought off the lot for the first time ever. The dealership doesn't have a lot of room at the showroom, so leases garage space in a few other places. The car was actually in a parking garage about 4-5 miles from the dealership. I assume it would thus have about 13-16 miles if it was delivered with 5-6 miles on it when it arrived, plus 8 miles round-trip. It actually had 22 miles, which seems like either a very short test drive or perhaps they drove it to the back to the showroom to wash it at some point (another 8-10 miles round trip).
Mine had that magical 26 miles, i understood that it's all soft drive ( from offsite dealer location and limited test drive) around the dealership. Can you insist on getting less than 10 miles, just curious .
I just noticed when I was poking around in the displays that you can see all of the miles put on the car in the Eco Diary. How many miles on what day. Somewhat confirms my idea about how the miles were put on.
My PHV (Prime) arrived at the dealer (which is my workplace) this morning with 2 km on the odometer. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
