About $5600 under MSRP, I don't know exactly because they threw in heated leather at dealer cost. I was $3500 under invoice before the leather upgrade.

    This was on a III.

You have a high technology Prius; gas prices are going up and who cares what the cost!

Congrats and welcome to Priusville. Enjoy the ride, technology and fuel savings.

    Happy Motoring,

    Tom

We looked at a new one - even with the rebate prices were still above 22K for a new one. We ended up buying a 2010 Toyota Certified pre-owned with 20k miles for $17,900. I thought it reasonable - we did not have to pay destination charge or the extras that dealers always throw onto the price of a new one.

I secured a 2010 Prius V, Blizzard Pearl with light gray interior and the advanced technology package for 30,990. I believe MSRP is 34,500. Out the door with TTL was about 800 less than MSRP.

I just got home with my 2010 Prius III, black with dark gray interior with navi + extras (jbl, ipod connector, XM radio, bluetooth), moon roof and solar panel plus extras (lower rocker molding, mats including cargo, and cargo organizer) with 10 miles before I test drove it for $26,403 ($400 below invoice) + tax/license with 0% financing for 5 years. I paid $595 for GAP and $670 for 4 years/48K mile warranty. I did not put anything down to save my 10K for a rainy day. I figured with no interest charges, I dont have to try and pay off the car to save on interest. I looked at edmunds, overstock, truecar and other sites for common price paid for the options that I have and it seems that I got a good deal. Any opinions? Should I return the GAP and 4 year warranty? My original plan was to get a 2011 Prius II for $22,988 but with approved loan of 5.99% for 5 years. I figured, just get the higher 2010 and my loan interest can go to the extras that came with the 2010.

    Thanks ...
*excited but nervous new prius owner*

P.S. I have 3 days or 250 miles to change my mind and return the car if I want to.

***wow that signature is 5 years old! did not get my 2006 prius then ... got the 2010 now!

I paid $23,800 for a Pkg IV with mats & cargo net (thrown in to the deal), Silver/Misty. That's before TTL. Out the door for $25K even.

    Invoice is listed at $26,440.

Bought a 2011-4 with Solar Roof Pkg for invoice +$250 - employee pricing. Dallas offered invoice, but extra $250 was worth buying locally.

I purchased my new 2010 Prius III 12/23/2010 for 20% off MSRP. Sticker was $24,984 and I paid $19,998 + that $599 "Dealer Fee". It was a no hassle, flat "20% off any Toyota" sale on Merritt Island, Fl.
