how much is gas in your area?

That's dirt cheap for my area. I paid $3.989/gal for premium 5 days ago at a cheaper station, as my Prius tends to ping on regular CA gas when it gets hotter (like in the summer). Checking the gasbuddy.com shows the cheapest in my metro area is $3.75/gal for regular. Yet, I still see plenty of battering ram of death SUVs running around.

 

Just fueled up. $3.75.9

 

Gas at my favorite Hess is now at $3.49, the same price as diesel there. At least I get better mileage than my TDIs got.

 

I wonder what's up now. It's going up daily after being steady for weeks here in PA

 

$8.25 /gal for the cheapest gas.

I have been slacking at reporting gas prices...so from my last trip to Northern Virginia here goes.

It was $3.52 on 7/18 here in Atlanta
It was $3.27 on 7/19 at the Virginia border
It was $3.45 on 7/21 in Leesburg, VA
It was $3.38 on 7/21 outside Knoxville, TN

Just about time to fuel up tomorrow and I haven't paid attention to the prices here in Atlanta now. I hope I will be pleasantly surprised!

 

$3.99 for plus today; full serve since that's all there is in NJ.

 

Us North Americans have no idea how good we have it. And still we complain.

 

It looks like gas is coming back down. An expensive station that was recently at $3.99/gal for regular is down to $3.95.

I saw some regular for ~$3.75 to $3.79ish today... If all goes well soon, I won't be buying much gas for a long time. I'm finally am going to lease a Leaf, possibly Sunday or next weekend, depending on how soon the dealer can get the car from another dealer. Interested in a specific set of colors and equipment.

It kind helps that there's free L2 J1772 charging at work.

 

I'm always concerned with gas prices. I noticed today (072713) just how much they have risen in the past three weeks. For the central Virginia area, Premium unleaded $3.87, diesel $3.64, medium grade unleaded $3.45, and regular unleaded $3.39. My wife & I have four vehicles. Two use premium, one diesel, and the Prius. I have a friend and business competitor. He's very comfortable in life and I've heard him say many times, "I don't care how high gas goes, I can afford it". That's comforting, but who really wants to pay high fuel prices? Too many vehicles, and especially newer vehicles require premium unleaded, while getting poor fuel mileage. I could understand a high performance vehicle. My 2011 Lexus IS 350, six cylinder requires premium as well as my wifes 2006 MB SLK. Until recently, I can't remember diesel fuel being cheaper than premium unleaded. Many can afford whatever the price of gas is going for. It beats walking. For many, it's a budget breaker and a economy wrecker. We've seen the peaks and valley of constantly fluctuating gas supplies and prices. A thought and line from the 1976 movie "Network". "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore". Why? I drive a Prius.

Just paid 3.48 in Atlanta today. Not terrible, but not impressive either.

 

1.449/liter in Sherbrooke, Qc, Canada. Equals 5.48 US$ per US gallon.

 

$3.55 at my last fill up in Union, NJ. Cash was $.3.45

 

At some point the price of gas was really really cheaper in US and people close to the borders in Canada regularly went to US to full their tank!

 

3.919 in Owego NY now. I repeat, this is a bunch of crap.

 

Just fueled up this morning in Atlanta at $3.57 a gallon.

 

Saw the Shell station on my way to work at $3.239. Won't need to fill up for a few more days though.
