How much should the 100k service cost?

    May as well change the water pump if you are changing the thermostat ;).

    They are right by one another and the coolant will drained anyway(y).

    I am sure they will. I may have them quote it per item too. And check with the 2 other local dealers

    If it isn't in this manual, it isn't needed. Boils down to: Oil/filter change. Engine coolant change. Rotate tires.

    Check installation of driver’s floor mat
    Inspect and adjust all fluid levels
    Replace engine oil and oil filter 1
    Replace engine/inverter coolant 3
    Rotate tires
    Visually inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs

    Additional Maintenance Items for Special Operating Conditions 2
    Driving on dirt roads or dusty roads:
    Inspect ball joints and dust covers Inspect drive shaft boots
    Inspect engine air filter
    Inspect steering linkage and boots
    Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and body

    Driving while towing, using a car-top carrier, or heavy vehicle loading5 :
    Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and body

    1 Reset the oil replacement reminder light (“MAINT REQD”) or the message “OIL MAINTENANCE REQUIRED” on the multi-information display after maintenance at every 5,000 miles.
    2 Perform these service items only if you drive primarily under the conditions indicated.
    3 Initial engine coolant replacement at 100,000 miles/120 months. Replace every 50,000 miles/60 months thereafter. Initial inverter coolant replacement at 150,000 miles/180 months. Replace every 50,000 miles/60 months thereafter. Refer to “Engine/Inverter Coolant” in the “Explanation of Maintenance Items” section in the back of this guide for more information.

    I dont have any warranty . I didnt buy any. Do I just go to any Toyota dealership for maintenanc ? I'm at 60,000 miles now

    you can, or you can look for any decent mech with lower prices.

    Do you really have to take off the wipers and the cladding to get to the plugs? I watched the YouTube video and didn't want to have to take the top end apart to get to the plugs.

    The person who designed a head with the plugs facing backwards should have been told to rotate them 90 degrees forwards!

    ~$300 seems a bit much for a coolant drain and fill.

    Had all the fluids changed, Oil Engine coolant, Inverter coolant, routine service here at a San Diego area dealership.. Not really a 100K service but everything was checked... 2 hours ...$400... Driving across Country -San Diego - Miami - Washington DC - take Route 66 back home.... all good
